TV Trailer

Have you ever had an engaging and productive experience with your child and then asked yourself "What just happened?" And, "how can we do that again?"

Or, have you ever tried really hard to help your child accomplish something, like finishing a task or putting down their electronics for a short while...only to feel frustration because no matter what you did to inspire their action, it just didn't work?

Those are normal questions because we can't be that proverbial fly on teh wall to observe how we show up and what words we use, what facial rpessions we use and what magic takes place to create the outcome we are hoping for.

Sneak Preview, Improving Lives...One Stride at a Time

Witness the magic that happens between a horse and an autistic child. No words. Just love and understanding. And healing.

Meet Laurie Landy, Founding Director of Special Strides and Occupational Therapist, and Suzie Rehr, Executive Director & Physical Therapist. These women are passionate about the horse/human connection and using it to help children of all ages to thrive. They share the magic and the science behind that connection and how the Special Strides team in Monroe, NJ uses it to help individuals with disabilities enjoy more focus, balance, arm and leg movement, and even talking...while having fun. Through their love and hard work, they are improving lives, one stride at a time!
